Birth Story: Carla's Empowering VBAC Home Birth

Introduction: Carla engaged with me later in her pregnancy after moving into the area. Originally planning a hospital birth, Carla sought a different approach this time.

Consultation and Preparation: Already a mother, Carla opted for a VBAC at home. Throughout her pregnancy, we focused on preparing her both physically and emotionally for this journey.

Labour and Delivery: Carla went into labour late Monday afternoon, and despite being at the beach, she sensed things were progressing. Labouring swiftly at home, Carla welcomed her baby at 21:00.

Postpartum Care: Following the birth, Carla remained at home, where all her postpartum care was provided in the familiar surroundings of her own home.

Feedback: Reflecting on her pregnancy, Carla expressed disbelief at her achievement, thanking me for believing in her, providing wisdom, and reminding her to trust herself.
